Bird Feeders for a Designer Garden

CO9Cloud are closet twitchers and whilst looking for a new bird feeder for the garden we came across this stylish contemporary range by Eva Solo. We're not sure how fashion conscious our local blue tits are, but we're sure they'd love having their lunch out of one of these!

Budak by Erdem Selek

A novel way to dry your dishes!

Designed in 2007 by Erdem Selek the Budak is a novel way to dry dishes and water your plants at the same time. Whilst we are not convinced this particular design is the answer, we do like the concept of recycling your dish water to water your plants. Let us know of any other designs out there that involve recycling water.

Batman Chair

We've been away for a while so thought we'd kick start our new posts with an oldie but a goodie...

You've all probably gathered by now that we love all things comic book inspired and this chair is no exception.

The Batman Chair was designed in 1989 by New York artist and designer Alex Locadia.

When interviewed by the New York Times back in 1992, Locadia disclosed that "his approach to form in furniture design was based on his lifelong fascination with science fiction and his appreciation for the primal side of nature, the dark side". He sounds right up our street!
